What is the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)?

National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)

The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) is a system which tracks a student’s federal Pell grants and federal student loans, regardless of the school attended. All information on totals borrowed or received along with current contact information for the loan holders (servicers) can be found on their website (www.nslds.ed.gov). Students will also log in to NSLDS to complete Exit Counseling when they leave school.
