Eligibility Requirements for Financial Aid
Eligibility for most types of financial aid is determined by the information you report on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Specific grants, scholarships, or loans may also have specific eligibility requirements determined by the sponsor/lender. In general, students must be U.S. Citizens or an eligible non-citizen (as determined by the Dept. of Education) to qualify for Federal aid. Students must also not be in default on any federal loans or owe an overpayment to the Dept. of Education. You must also be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements. Other eligibility questions will be reviewed as you complete your FAFSA.
